ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the LEVEL Youth Policy Program, applicants must:
- Live in British Columbia
- Be between the ages of 19 and 29 on the application deadline (October 30, 2026)
- Identify as being from Indigenous and/or racialized immigrant or refugee communities
- Interested in leadership development and public policy
- Fluent in spoken English and at least basic proficiency in reading and writing English -we cannot provide multilingual translation supports at this time
COMMITMENTS
Participants will be required to commit to the following:
- Attending and participating in all six modules, including in-person modules
- Completing all readings, assignments, and activities on time during and between modules
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with Elders, mentors, partners, and peers
- Completion of a policy ask for your final project
- Bringing a healthy curiosity and a shared commitment to creating brave space with respect and solidarity for the different journeys and identities of your peers in the program
