After the final presentations from our incredible 2022 YPP cohort, we took time to reflect and consult with thought partners. Since then, we’ve been learning and preparing for what’s next:
- We have paused the transition and are committed to hosting two more cohorts of YPP. We’ve been engaging in discussions regarding the future of the YPP and recognize that gathering input from community is vital. We’re developing plans to establish a Community Advisory Circle, consisting of individuals from the YPP community who will serve as trusted voices for the program and help inform our decision.
Until then, we’re excited to announce that applications for the 2024 cohort will be available on October 1, 2023. If you know anyone who would be interested, please share this message with them.

Are you a change-maker in BC passionate about empowering youth? Join us on October 5 from 9am – 12pm for a Learning Day, led by four program alumni. This virtual session promises insightful and rich discussions surrounding youth leadership and engagement in public policy.
