Roberta Longclaws
My name is Roberta Longclaws, I also go by Bobbi. I am a retired teen mom of 4 young ones, and I also am a former youth in care. I spent a lot of my formative years pushing the limits, and fighting to try and create a better world for everyone involved in youth care and people’s living with addictions. I have always advocated for my peers and have been involved in a few programs to try to build up those around me. It’s a life long passion of mine to advocate and help people access all that is available to them and pass on the word of any program available to those in need. I am working on becoming a Indigenous family advocate to help parents and children reunite who are affected by being separated from being in care; specifically for families who are Indigenous, but am willing to help anybody. I’m a proud Indigenous woman who has made her way through the trenches to become a better me everyday.
