Eyvette Elliott (Qwuy’um’aat) is a member of the Cowichan Tribes, located on Vancouver Island. She excels in three areas: people, policy, and communications. Her passion for community has allowed her to cross a variety of sectors, build meaningful relationships and formulate creative solutions to further enhance the wellbeing of her community and surrounding areas.
She is currently a student at Vancouver Island University studying for a Master of Community Planning. Eyvette also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Human Resources and Certificate in First Nations Housing Management. While pursuing her studies, she continues important work within First Nation governance related to land management, health, housing, child and family services, health and wellness, and human resources.
Eyvette is currently an independent consultant for Ever Plan, working on various projects with the goal of building healthy, vibrant, and inclusive communities. When not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with family, beading, hiking, and engaging with everything that Vancouver Island has to offer.
