Jaimie Teagle (Harris) was born and raised in the Heiltsuk Nation territory (Bella Bella). Jaimie has been working within her community to serve within the Heiltsuk Tribal Council with the portfolio system since 2016. Among the portfolios such as Education, Youth, Lands, Capital, and Economic Development, the projects within Bella Bella had been focused on creating employment, education opportunities, and housing needs. Jaimie holds a Business Administration degree from Capilano University and encourages lifelong learning within the Bella Bella Community School Society as a board director.
